Short description
Daimonion is a short piece about the reflection of criticism and what goes on inside of us.
In the duet Daimonion I examine the relationship between human beings and their inner critic, which determines our self-esteem. I delve into different emotional states, which are related to our inner critic: shame and fear, anger and hatred, unity and harmony.
Our inner critic, called „Daimonion“ in Greek antiquity, describes a personal protective spirit that lives within us. A maternal voice that comforts us, but also these eternal critical to condemning sentences that do not let us sleep at night. How we deal with these often unrealistic expectations, what value we give this voice will get explored and artistically presented in the piece „Daimonion“.
